Mrs. Annie Ward Johnson, 77 of, Shallotte, NC passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Universal Healthcare Brunswick in Bolivia, NC.  Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1229 Cedar Grove Rd. SW, Supply, NC 28462. Burial will follow at Riley-Hewett Cemetery, Off of Turkey-Trap Rd. SW, Supply, NC 28462. Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 4-7PM in the Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home-Shallotte, 5190 Ocean Hwy. West, Shallotte, NC 28470.

Mrs. Annie Ward Johnson is survived by (2-Son’s) Freddie Lee (Chawana) Johnson, Jr. and Andrew Johnson both of Shallotte, NC. (1- Daughter) Eileen Jeanette Ward of Lithonia, GA; (5-Grandchildren) Kiah Johnson, Skyy Talon Johnson, Freddie Lee Johnson, III, Altrey Frink, and Jackson Coppins; (3-Sister’s) Bertha Moore, Lula Johnson, and Susie Littlejohn; (10-Sister-In-Laws) Alice Ward, Virgina Ward, Evelyn Johnson, Phoebe Irene Scott, Florence Johnson, Betty R. Chavis, Meredith Aleese Johnson, Joyce H. Johnson, Peggy Johnson, and Deloise Johnson; (3-Brother-In-Laws) Floyd E. Johnson, Henry Ralphell Johnson and Marvin Littlejohn.

Mrs. Johnson is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended relatives, and a special (faithful until the end) friend Ann Vereen.
