Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at St. James, African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, 407 East West Street, Southport, NC 28461. Burial will follow at Northwood Cemetery  in Southport, NC. Viewing will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 4-6PM in the Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte, Inc., 5190 Ocean Hwy. West, Shallotte, NC 28470 and at the church one-hour prior and following the services. Mrs. Carolyn Y. Howard is survived by (1 Son) Lee Jolly, Sr. of Southport, NC. (1 Daughter) Stacey King (Shun) Rice of Charlotte, NC. (1 Step-Daughter) Marion Howard of Louisville, KY. (12) Grandchildren, (1) Great-Grandchild and host of loving family and friends.
