Deacon Dewey Stevenson, Jr., 71, of, Longwood, NC, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at MUSC Charleston in Charleston, SC. Graveside services for IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS and FRIENDS will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion Cemetery, 7370 Mt. Zion Church Rd, NW, Longwood, NC 28452. Burial will immediately follow the services. A walk-through viewing will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 3-6PM in the Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte, Inc., 5190 Ocean Hwy. West, Shallotte, NC 28470. In addition to his (Devoted Wife) Mrs. Mary M. Stevenson, Deacon Dewey Stevenson, Jr. is survived by his (Mother) Mildred Stevenson of Longwood, NC, (2 Sons) Derrick (Termeisha) Smith of Gastonia, NC, and Jamie (Tracey) Smith of Phoenixville, PA.  (3) Brothers,(6) Sisters,(5) Grandchildren,(3) Great-Grandchildren. Deacon Dewey Stevenson, Jr. is also survived by host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
