Mr. Charlie Douglas Hill, 71, of 5128 Ruddock Way SW, Shallotte, NC, died Saturday, November 8, 2014 at home. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 1:00pm until 6:00pm in the chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte. Funeral service will be held Friday November 14, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte, 5190 Ocean Hwy. W., Shallotte, NC 28459.  Mr. Hill is survived by his wife Betty Hill of the home; four daughters, Leatrice (Lamont) Drye of Shallotte, NC, Vicky Hill of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Bridget Hill of Wilmington, NC and Ashley Hill of the home; one adopted daughter, Ashley Miller Lane of Calabash, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
