Mr. Clyde Steven Goodwin, 66 of, Raleigh, NC (formally of Southport, NC) passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, NC. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Mt. Carmel AME Church, 507 N. Lord Street, Southport, NC 28461. Burial will follow at Northwood Cemetery, 711 E. Longleaf Dr., Southport, NC 28461. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM (two-hours) prior to the services at Mt. Carmel AME Church on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.
