Mr. James W. Brown

Mr. James Wellis Brown, 95 of, Ash, NC passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023, at his residence in Ash, NC. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Little Prong Missionary Baptist Church, 4501 Little Prong Rd. NW, Ash, NC 28420. Burial with military honors will follow at Little Prong Cemetery in Ash, NC.  A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 9, 2023, from 4-6PM in the Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte, Inc., 5190 Ocean Highway West, Shallotte, NC 28470.  

Mr. Brown is survived by four sons, Steve A. Brown, J. Anthony Brown, Danny B. Brown, and Randy O. Brown all of Ash, NC; Eight Grandchildren; Nineteen Great-Grandchildren; Three Great-Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Artencie Harrison of Florida; Special Friend, Jennette Mintz of Ash, NC; and a host of loving Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and Friends.  

Mr. Brown was a veteran of the United States Army.
