Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 587 Bricklanding Rd. SW, Shallotte, NC 28470. Burial will follow at Angela-Faye Cemetery in Shallotte, NC. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 4-6PM in the Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte, Inc., 5190 Ocean Highway West, Shallotte, NC 28470.

Mr. Gause is survived by (5-Son's) Richard (Gwanda) Hill of Calabash, NC, James Hill, Gregory Gause, Eric Gause and Carl Gause of Shallotte, NC; (1-Daughter) Cathelene (Cornell) Jenkins of Winnabow, NC; (3-Grandchildren); (2-Great-Grandchildren); (3-Sister's) Mrs. Evelyn Bullock of Shallotte, NC, Mrs. Oneitha Jackson of Hallsboro, NC, and Mrs. Angela (Darryl) Godwin of Apex, NC; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
