Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, 333 Crooked Gully Circle, Sunset Beach, NC 28468. Visitation with family will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church, 690 Seaside Road SW, Sunset Beach, NC 28468. Viewing will be held 1-hour prior (10:00 AM-11:00 AM) and following the services at Ocean View Baptist Missionary Baptist Association on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

Mr. Gause is survived by his (Wife) Mrs. Edie Gause of the home; (Children) Richard Landis Stallings of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Wexler Eleazer Gause of Columbus, OH, Sheila (Donald) Taylor of Raleigh, NC, Inger Roxanne Gause Marlowe of Calabash, NC, and De’Andrea Gause Jackson of Columbus, OH; (17-Grandchildren); (18-Great-Grandchildren); (1-Great-Great Grandchild); (Siblings) Minnie (LD) James of Bessemer, AL, Artell (Lisa) Gause of Boston, MA, Edward (Rose) Gause and Barbara Bellamy of Little River, SC; (1-Uncle) Joseph (Honalene) Sapps, Sr.; (1-Aunt) Louise Gause; Host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
