Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Brunswick Waccamaw Missionary Baptist Association, 600 Pine Log Road, Whiteville, NC 28472.

Ms. Mitchell is survived by (Children) Emory Clarida and Akeem Baldwin, Jr., both of Whiteville, NC; (Parents) Byron Gerald "Ronnie" Mitchell of Whiteville, NC and Arleen Ophelia Matthews-Mitchell of Phoenix, AZ; (Siblings) Brina (Sammy) Shipman of Whiteville, NC and Malik Mitchell of Phoenix, AZ; (Grandparents) Gayle (Charles) George of Whiteville, NC; (Fiancé) Roosevelt Colson, III; Host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and special friends.
